  • Our flexible, part-time program costs $12,495*. Scholarships and payment plans are available for those who qualify.

  • For the part-time online program, dedicate 9 hours of in-class time per week. In addition, you must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours to outside work per week depending on experience.

  • Yes. We offer you career support and coaching, including portfolio reviews, resume assistance, and technical interview training. In addition, we offer experiential learning opportunities to strengthen your portfolio. Learn more about our career planning support.
  • No. While having some background can help, our pre-course tutorials will get you up to speed and ready to start learning on Day 1.
  • Yes. Students will build front-end websites, create full-stack single-page applications and more through real-world projects as they gain practical web development experience and build a professional portfolio.
  • A reliable computer is required for this course. Either Mac or PC, with a minimum 8GB of RAM and a dual-core processor. If you’re unsure if your device meets the requirements, please check with your admissions advisor first and they will make sure you’re good to go.
  • No, all that is needed for class is your laptop with the above-mentioned specifications.
  • Our program provides the option of in-person or online learning with a convenient part-time schedule that allows working professionals to study web development without leaving work.
  • You will benefit from a robust set of professional development services to prepare you for success as you work to advance or change careers.

  • While some background knowledge is helpful, no experience is needed as long as you are dedicated and eager to learn. Our pre-course tutorials will help you prepare for our program.
  • We believe the main criterion for success in our program is your passion and commitment to succeed. Learning cybersecurity is difficult and requires hours of hard work, and we look for applicants who are determined and willing to give the program their all in order to achieve life-changing results.
  • No, applicants do not need to be University of Utah students. This program is offered through the University of Utah Professional Education.
  • The University of Utah Professional Education Cybersecurity Boot Camp has an application process and is not open enrollment. An initial phone interview with an admissions adviser is the first step in the process for program admission. Applicants who are recommended to move forward will take a required critical thinking and problem-solving assessment. After both application review and passing the academic assessment, qualified candidates will proceed to a final interview.

  • Yes, a reliable laptop is required for this course. Laptops can be Mac or PC, with a minimum 8GB of RAM and a dual core processor (64 bit).
