The rigorous boot camp curriculum is delivered through high-quality coursework and classes led by instructors who are fully vetted by the university. All instructors are assessed for not only their experience in the field, but also their ability to successfully communicate coding concepts to students in online and real-world environments. Instructors are dedicated to delivering a quality curriculum and to enhancing the learning experience of their students; they also offer 1-on-1 guidance to learners throughout the program.
Learn fundamental concepts of web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Portfolio Project: Build a client-side application using third-party APIs.
Work with servers, databases, and other back end technologies, such as SQL database, Node.js, and more.
Portfolio Project: Engineer your first full stack application.
Grow your skills using NoSQL databases, convert traditional applications into progressive web applications, and learn React.
Portfolio Project: Create a MERN stack single-page application.

This part-time program is designed for working adults, students, and busy professionals. It combines flexible online content with live virtual classes held outside of business hours.

The U Builds Coding Professionals
We provide professional training, certification and consulting services to our clients. We have established academies, through which client companies can build the knowledge, skills and resumes of their people. Within these academies, we provide progressive certificates that are tied to internationally-recognized credentialing programs. We also provide continuing education and professional development units to class participants. Finally, we have over 100 instructors who are working professionals and consultants—proven experts in their occupations. Through these experts, we provide market research, consulting services, and customized training to client companies that want to grow and improve processes.
This non-credit program is offered in partnership with edX. This boot camp, offered in partnership with edX, is made available through a unique consortium delivery model to provide skills-based learning to participants across Utah and beyond. Participants will be taught by a university-approved instructor, while learning alongside students from other consortium-participating universities and institutions. Upon meeting the completion requirements, participants will be issued a non-credit Certificate of Completion by University of Utah Professional Education.
